Within a screening system, a pole is used to join two screens together. For full height screens, this requires a pole cap like this at the top of each pole, which in the Adapt range are attached to the pole separately. This closes the hole at the end of a joining pole, to give it a much cleaner look. The cap simply slots into the top of any length of Adapt pole.
